The certification of our Chillbuster gas log sets does not permit the field conversion from one gas type to another. To address our customers’ conversion needs, we have developed a Factory Conversion Program to convert a Chillbuster from one gas type to another. Included in this service is the replacing of the burner orifice; the ODS pilot; the gas regulator or valve (depending on control type); and any aluminum tubing, as necessary. We clean the burner and grate, update the rating plate and our records to reflect the gas change, and perform a quality control test to ensure the proper operation of your set. We will return the set to you by UPS with the return charges paid.

The cost varies with the model and control type. If unsure of which control type you have, please contact Rasmussen. Please have your serial number (found on the metal tag attached to the burner - left hand side, rear) available. If you are unable to provide a serial number, please provide a digital photo via email to: info@rasmussen.biz
