                                Attached is the instruction manual on how to upgrade from a manual control (ME or SPK3E) unit to a remote ready system (equivalent to SE or RPK3E):

                                NOTE:  When installing the solenoid to the manual gas valve DO NOT over tighten.  (Fingertip tighten only)  Over tightening can cause the solenoid to stick inside the valve.
