                                Q - Can I use a Grate with a CXF Burner?

                                A - No. The CXF burner does not include, nor is it intended to be used with, a grate. The front and rear logs sit directly on the sand that fills the burner pan.

                                With our F, FX and LC burners the flames are directed between the front and rear logs. However, the CXF burner under a grate would not do this, rather the flame would strike the undersides of the front and rear logs, causing the castings to break down, which would not be covered under our warranty as using a grate with the CXF burner is not an intended use in our design.
